The Standard Flood Insurance Program (SFIP) is based upon the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 passed by Congress. The Act is Federal Law and is not subject to States Statutes. With the passing of the law it brought forth the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) with changes along the way. Those changes included the the program coming under the operation of Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
The printed NFIP Forms are spiral bound with an attractive vinyl cover and hardback to keep the pages from being easily destroyed.
The eternal pages are 80 pound card stock. This allows for highlighting important sections without bleeding through to the backside.
As a flood adjuster this is a must have tool with meeting the policyholder. It shows that you are a well prepared adjuster to help them understand what is covered and what is not covered.
