There are three ways to obtain Xactimate training: self-study, online and live.
I remember purchasing version 24 was in 2005. I ventured out on my own to learn the program and then teach the staff in my construction company. The problem with this was the day to day demands of operating the company would not allow me to keep my fingers on the keyboard and reinforcement of memorizing the category and item codes. Everything I learned within two or three days was lost because I was not disciplined in my self-study Xactimate training.
As time moved forward there became a huge demand for online Xactimate training. Most of these online training are three days. Contrary to an internet search of “how long does it take to learn Xactimate; 5-hours.” The percentage of knowledge retained from online training has the largest lost if the student does not return to practice within 48-hours.
Our live training courses provide the highest percentage of knowledge retention over the self-study and online training. A systemic delivery from our Xactimate Certified Trainer allows the students to move along at a pace that is not too slow or too fast. Allowing the student to interact with the certified trainer and build comradery to other students. During the live training the student will learn nuggets from the certified trainer that only comes through years of working in the program. There is a high percentage of knowledge retention by attending a live training, however, retention goes hand in hand with daily practice in the program.
Bullseye Training and NFIP Flood Boot Camp offers two live training courses: Xactimate Fundamentals & Proficiency and Xactimate Specialized Flood Training. Visit our website to find the city and date near you.
Upon the completion the student will receive 22 continuing education credits for the state of Texas and more states are becoming available in the near future.

The training course is a must for all property claim adjusters, contractors, and estimators. So make use of Xactimate training and become successful writing claims or estimates.
Which program should I use?
Currently there are two programs that Xactware is supporting: 28 and X1. We highly recommend having on your computer X1. Soon Xactware will stop supporting 28. Our Certified Xactimate Trainer only teaches the X1 version, however, they can answer questions related to 28.
Live xactimate training is by far the best environment to learn and retain the greatest knowledge in claims adjuster and contractor estimate writing.
